Only if the knots aren't bleached or something else is "off", and even then someone would have to be VERY close and actually trying to find something for them to really notice. To be honest with you I don't worry about the crown area. The knots aren't even bleached in that area on most of the units I have had. The fact of the matter is that in the eyes of the hairwearer, the hair is never really 100%. You will always be able to pick out flaws if you know it is there. The thing about it is that it doesn't have to be anywhere close to 100% for people to think that it's your real hair. With a full cap especially. You can get a away with a lot if you don't have to worry about blending and color matching, etc. like you do with a partial. I even have a couple of full caps that are way too thick that I would never even step foot out of the house in, but I could probably even wear those without people giving me a second glance. Bottom line- a hairpiece, even a well made and well attached full cap will never be 100% undetectable 100% of the time with 100% of people. There is almost always something that could <em>potentially</em> give it away. The thing you have to keep in mind is that even though it will likely never be perfect, you will probably be the only one who ever sees it. Even people who know I wear swear I am crazy when I ask their opinion about a flaw that to me might be obvious. Could it happen?
