Full Cap Reinforcement
On a recent thread posted on the Hair Direct message board I was asked to elaborate on my suggestion to reinforce the base in the area where the ear meets the sideburn of a full cap. This needs to be done on swiss lace bases to avoid fraying that is caused by stress from attachments and removals. Here is a picture of a full cap based turned inside out that I have modified to illustrate the area where it is beneficial to have an extra layer of lace added to minimize fraying:
