I'm considering a full cap after seeing your site. My sides are thinning out rapidly and I have to make a decision soon. I have scars from unsuccessfull transplant surgery I'm not thrilled with showing. I like the idea of not having to worry about blending or different hair textures and not needing a haircut. I have three questions.
1. I am wondering how well it conforms to your head. My current top piece puckers here and there on the sides of the top as it's not a perfect molded fit but it can be hidden by my hair. I'm worried that a full cap might feel like a loose bag in spots. It would be great if they could come out with a stretchy lace that would shrink to your heads contours. What is your experience on this and how do you specify or send in details to get the fit for your head to not be loose.
2. I like to comb my hair back on the sides but I've never specified anything but loose venting so I don't have a sense of how much it "directs" the hair. At the temples should I specified a downward/back angle direction? I want to avoid it sticking straight out on the sides but I also want to be able to comb it back with some gel.

3. If I wanted to try a full cap and I was going to try and trim the sides down to a short but not too short for a hairsystem 1/2". The reason is that I can actually see that with a full cap it might be more possible than with just a top piece to have a longer "regular" flattop. How would you specify the sides to be vented to look best at a short length? (downward, use the words "to lay flat"? ) Also, would it make sense to then order a Pompadour venting so it naturally stood up and wouldn't need to be force that way with a hairdryer? I'm thinking if it's vented right I might not ever need to really need to comb my hair except to fix morning bed head.

I appreaciate your willingness to share your experience. Thank you.

Hey Mike,

Yes, the DVD version of the video will be available at HairDirect and other retailers in the coming weeks. All of the artwork is finished, now we are just waiting on one final revision to the master disc and everything should be good to go! Thanks for the comment!

hi JRob,
A great site...:)

u did not coment on fine monfilament base with front of french lace. So what is the lowest density in %age that can look good on mono for a 45 years old with still good side and back hair. i checked sites toplace, coolpiece and HD, all have different % for density. what is 60 to 70 % density in your view.

.. is it a good idea to order front hair line about 2 inches in slightly less density than top.

please advice

thx

Hey Larry,

We are in the process of making some changes to the line and there is a very good possibility that we will be offering larger sizes for some of the products in the near future. Check back with HD regularly as they will most likely be the first to carry any new products that we introduce. Thanks for the comment,

Jon

Hi Rob,

I've been using your BlueMax 3-Step System on and off for about two years. While I've tried other products, yours works best for me. My systems stay soft and healthy looking, I'll be using BlueMax exclusively from here on in. I'm wondering if larger size bottles might be available someday, as ordering from HD is costly when shipping charges are factored in.

Best wishes,
Larry

Hey Keith,

I have had the same issue with the swiss lace on the front of some of my units. I don't really know if anything can be done about it. Make sure you are washing with cool water, especially when the unit is off of your head. Also, be careful when removing tape from the base. If it isn't soaked good with alcohol it can cause the lace to pull and bunch up when you pull the tape off.
