Contact Me
I posted this as a blog entry, but I realized that I needed an official contact page, so if you need to reach me, here is my info:
The past several months things have been pretty busy for me with the launch of the RemySoft product line, the new blog, the final editing of my Full Cap eBook, and plans to continue with the production of my Full Cap DVD. So far I have been able to keep up with answering all of my emails, and as long as I have the time I will continue to help anyone who has questions regarding Full Caps or hair replacement in general.
For the benefit of all of my readers, I have introduced a new category entitled “Reader Mailbag” where I will post questions that are sent to me via email, along with my answers in a blog post, if I feel that it might be of benefit to other readers. Keep in mind that I will not include any of your personal information in the post, but if you wish to not have your question answered on the blog itself, please let me know when you contact me.
One more thing-
With all of the transitions and transformations recently, I have ended up with several different email addresses. I still receive email at all of them, but I am trying to consolidate, so if you need to contact me please use one of the email addy’s below.

Hi JRob,
I just wanted to let you know that there’s an issue with your site when viewing it with Apple’s Safari browser (I’m using the new version 4). When I first arrive at hairjive.com (or whenever I click any of the links on your blue menu bar), the web site tires to play the “3am” video clip you posted. Prior to posting the “3am” clip, it played a different clip that started with “JRob here…”
This problem doesn’t happen when I use Firefox from either a PC or a Mac.
Must be an incompatibility between wordpress or the wordpress theme and that browser. I wouldn’t even know how to begin to fix it…. Thanks for the heads up though
i were a full cap system i have trouble keeping back down any information would be appreciated
I use blue liner tape with excellent results. The fact that the tape gets stronger as it begins to break down makes it stick like crazy.
Be sure to watch my blog over the next week or so. I am going to post my new technique for making the nape undetectable. Might be some info there that would be useful for you.
I switched to blue liner tape and it gives a much better hold and as you say, as it breaks down, it actually gets stronger, but i cannot get the hair at the back lower neck edge and corners to lay down flat against my skin – it always flares up and out especially at the corners and especially when I look down or up (kinda bends the hair up and out – a dead give-away it’s fake and not growing out of my head.
Hey JRob, thank you sooo much for this blog! It is GOOD! I’d like to ask you: I’m a mixed man, my hair only allow me to do a razor cut because otherwise I’ll look ridiculous! So with that being said, do you think I can wear full wigs and still have my hair underneath without looking unnatural?
Thank you so much!
Please see the response to your question on a reader mailbag post here http://hairjive.com/blog/2011/05/25/reader-mailbag-cleanup-and-shaving/
I’m considering a full cap after seeing your site. My sides are thinning out rapidly and I have to make a decision soon. I have scars from unsuccessfull transplant surgery I’m not thrilled with showing. I like the idea of not having to worry about blending or different hair textures and not needing a haircut. I have three questions.
1. I am wondering how well it conforms to your head. My current top piece puckers here and there on the sides of the top as it’s not a perfect molded fit but it can be hidden by my hair. I’m worried that a full cap might feel like a loose bag in spots. It would be great if they could come out with a stretchy lace that would shrink to your heads contours. What is your experience on this and how do you specify or send in details to get the fit for your head to not be loose.
2. I like to comb my hair back on the sides but I’ve never specified anything but loose venting so I don’t have a sense of how much it “directs” the hair. At the temples should I specified a downward/back angle direction? I want to avoid it sticking straight out on the sides but I also want to be able to comb it back with some gel.
3. If I wanted to try a full cap and I was going to try and trim the sides down to a short but not too short for a hairsystem 1/2″. The reason is that I can actually see that with a full cap it might be more possible than with just a top piece to have a longer “regular” flattop. How would you specify the sides to be vented to look best at a short length? (downward, use the words “to lay flat”? ) Also, would it make sense to then order a Pompadour venting so it naturally stood up and wouldn’t need to be force that way with a hairdryer? I’m thinking if it’s vented right I might not ever need to really need to comb my hair except to fix morning bed head.
I appreaciate your willingness to share your experience. Thank you.
Hey Harvey,
Please take a moment to register on the HairJive forum and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. With the launch of JRob’s Full Cap Essentials I am trying to consolidate the questions into one area to make it easier to answer and so other folks can find the info more easily. The address is http://www.HairJive.com/forum.
Thanks!
JRob
