Hussain,

I haven't used monofilament bases and I tend to shy away from poly as well. From what I hear the hair lasts a long time in a mono base. As far as being undetectable to sight and touch, I can't really say. I don't know anyone who has had this type of base configuration on a full cap.

One thing to keep in mind with mixing base materials is that the transition areas can be iffy. The hair on the poly tends to lay flatter and is "locked" into place, whereas the hair that is tied into the lace has more movement to it. Not sure if this would apply to mono as well but I would assume so since they are both knotted. I would ask a hair tech for a second opinion before placing your order.

Let us know how it goes!

I went thru same problems of yours with the hair piece system and after reading your experience, I decided to go for a full cap system. Due to staying away from USA, I found it may be more suitable to choose HD13 as a base, since it may last longer specially I have tried it with my old hair piece and found it comfortable.

is that OK...? if not, what is your recommendation please.

Thanks
